This is the KEYWORDS meta tag from ... ... the Microsoft home page.
meta name="KEYWORDS" content="products; headlines; downloads; news; Web site; what's new; solutions; services; software; contests; corporate news;"
I don't know what they are thinking. I don't even know why "Web site" is capped. I don't know why they don't have the words "microsoft" or "windows" in them.
I do know that meta tags aren't the be-all and end-all of existence, but ... anyone have thoughts to share? Any telepaths out there?
I didn't look up what this meta tag is supposed to, but it looked neat so I hammered it into my site with a drill. Maybe it means all the traffic to the M$ home page will be redirected to mine. That would be cool.
I hope no one reads this.
Once Again, this time, without brackets

meta name="CATEGORY" content="home page"
Hey, someone should remove the meta tag I just accidentally inserted into this page.

Now you got me looking at my source code trying to see how you could have inserted a meta tag :Z
But that wasn't my comment. My comment is - All directory editors hold that "Web" and "Internet" must be capitalized. Except for me that is. IMO it is not a proper noun or an acronym.
Capitalization freaks me out

I thought all the values in the keyword field were case-insensitive. Though I do remember some time back that "Internet" is considered a proper noun.
Web... Damn spiders are getting into our society, taking over. I'm going to start calling my apartment, The Apartment and see how those stuck-up spiders like it...

if i was microsoft, i wouldn't have any keywords
with their brand awareness, they hardly need keywords to be found in a search engine.
