On Nov 25, 2004 we read Some Technical Treason. Six ways to effectively speed up your PC, a groundbreaking article for the technical elite signed sincerely by Tranni D'Electric. Pascal had news on Jan 18, 2005: a Google group has been set up for Tranni's fans, I quote from the initial post:
Date: Tue, 11 Jan 2005 17:04:57 -0800 Subject: Some info. on Tranni D'Electric.
Tranni was born to technically minded parents. Her brain is fried from too much logic and not enough reason. She is not unusual in this respect though, as we all know such individuals. For taxation evasion reasons, she was hired by a "soon to be bust" newspaper, as an "expert columnist on electronic equipment and consumer products in general. [...]
Tranni works for http://www.countcontrol.com/thetrivialtimes.html The Trivial Times, the "TTT's" or Tease. The only objective newspaper, in the World. The bible of double-speak and imperfect presumption.

Tranni is teriffic. She was born during the sixties. Her parents were technical people and called her after a technical conponent. As any smart alec will tell you, "tranni" is short for "transcystor". A transcystor is a device for transforming a cyst into any thing else. http://www.countcontrol.com/tranni.html
