Why in the world do I name the Webmaster first - instead of writing about the site? Well, because the site is classic: it is perfect in form and content. The site kept me reading for hours when I first found it and I did come back. I thought I know quite a bit about NLP, now I know better.
Design: A very pleasing and quiet design. No frames, no popups, no background to disturb the text.
Font scheme: VERY good readability, consistent throughout the site.
Color: The color scheme is logical and consistent throughout the site.
Usability: No navigation bars that reduce the useful reading area, text links where you need them, navigation without graphics always possible.

Seishindo helps people cultivate their ability to live in a generative, life-affirming manner. The word means "the cultivation of a pure heart and simple mind" or "the cultivation of the whole self". It draws upon Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido, "Sei Tai", NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Ericksonian Psychology, Cybernetics, and Self Relations Therapy.
Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido: "Shin Shin Toitsu" basically means, "the coordination of spirit and body", outside of Japan this form of Aikido is usually called "Ki Society Aikido." Learn how to be fully present and safe, without needing to be aggressive, and or combative: most attacks can be neutralized before they are even launched.
Sei Tai: The form of "Sei Tai" explored in Seishindo is called "Noguchi Sei Tai" as created by Haruchika Noguchi sensei. "Sei Tai" basically means "properly ordered body." In simple terms Noguchi sensei said that we all hold on to excess energy that inhibits us from rebalancing ourselves and thus we inhibit our ability to remain physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy.
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is the Art, Science, and Practice of Understanding and Valuing People. It studies communication, shared leadership, creativity, and conflict resolution, how mental strategies, communication patterns, and value systems, influence a variety of business and personal activities. Objectives are to understand and model how various individuals and organizations create life affirming, solution oriented processes that foster the sharing of knowledge, the creation of intelligence, and a sense of well being and personal excellence.
Ericksonian Psychology is a model for understanding how each person constructs, communicates and believes in their own personal reality.

Dorothy Pietracatella has had a distinguished career as an opera singer. She is a somatic therapist with expertise in Brain Gym. Polarity therapy, Seishindo, Cell memory healing, Sound healing, Somatic Experiencing, and other trauma work. Dorothy has a private practice in New York City and Washington DC and is currently giving Sound Healing Workshops with Master Drummer Toby Christensen.
