RSS and XML in HTML

ProgrammingIt wasn't easy to find this trick, but finally I found a way to include an XML page with an XSL style rules sheet into an HTML page for easier browsing and better indexing. First I used the examples at XML.com to make the RSS feed from the XML generated by this portal appear decently on a page. It was an XML page, though, and I couldn't find a way to incorporate the other content I wanted to include along with my styling. So this led me to the Internet Explorer 5 Companion, where they outline how to use DHTML for including the XML and XSL into the (otherwise?) normal HTML page. The result is an entry page to the portal. The two files that make up the DHTML content are RSSChannels.xml and getRSS.xsl, which work together on our Site Back End. This is an RSS newsfeed source.
