I can't find a green that will go with 999933 and with the new forum colors D8BFD8 (thistle, the header) and F0F8FF (aliceblue). I think it looks too gaudy with the F8F8FF (ghostwhite) that I have there now for the alternating forum message cells. I'm not sure whether to try to mix my own green, to go back to white, or to just keep the gaudiness.

 Light Olive Green not Feasible
Written on 03/10/04 at 19:59:46 GMT by Jos
Once one gets the olive green 999933 lightened past a certain point, it turns to more of a yellowish color. It looks okay that way now IMO.

In the color scheme, the goal is somewhat of a cross between Africa and India colors, with a circus touch, multicultural, and something for every attitude or philosophy. It is intended to be a clash of sorts, yet one that blends as a complementary contrast.
