"IE-SPYAD is a Registry file (IE-ADS.REG) that adds a long list of sites and domains associated with known advertisers, marketers, and crapware pushers to the Restricted sites zone of Internet Explorer."
I haven't tested this personally as I hesitate to put anything new on my browser just now. It looked interesting, though, which was why I am posting it here.

The restricted zone works well if you use IE, or if that paticular program uses IE to get something bad, but for a more effective method that blocks ALL contact with servers (scripts, programs, ads,AX,everything)that might send you bugs/spyware ect, check out my article here... http://outlawsys2.virtualave.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi?action=viewnews&id=40
[And just for grins, you CAN open that IE-ADS.REG file up in a text editor and see EXACTLY what sites/entries it is adding if you are worried! It doesn't RUN or INSTALL any programs, just adds entries to the list of restricted sites! ;-) ]
