where to find directories to submit to
I've submitted my site to all the directory lists out there such as, seo
company, best web directories, site vortex etc. in all that makes well over
1,000 sites that i've submitted to maybe even 2k. But it hasn't made any
dramatic affect just a little, But i was looking for more directories. I
know hundreds of them open every day I want to know where to find those free
ones.Where do you all go to look for more directories to list in when allready submitted to all the lists?

Best regard

Sonali

My goodness you have submitted your site to a lot of directories already then. SiteLibrary has been submitted only to a few, probably less than 10 altogether. I just don't get the time very often. Some of the others who have been in our group have submitted to some other places, so that helps a lot.

Maybe you could start looking around for some private websites that would like to list some resources with related content. Sometimes it would be nice to link to just a category, in your classifieds for instance, that would be related to the topic of their site.

I really do need to get busy and do some more submissions of this site. It is time now to focus on being more well known, more public.

Just remember Google will "punish" you for having linkbacks from totally unrelated websites.  Don't list yourself on a billion websites about actors, elephants, and law for example.  Google will scan the sites and see all those pointless linkbacks to you and move you further down in their rankings.

You want to keep your website listed on sites related to your business.  The more related outgoing and incoming links a site has the better your site will do in Google ranking....in theory that is.
