To change a member to an admin, you just edit their profile. There is a place there to set status and level.

Make sure to go through your admin assistant settings in site admin to check the privileges that you want the admin assistants to have.

It's a good idea to set yourself up as an admin assistant to see how it works. I do most everything as an admin assistant "jos", and only log in as the real admin when there's something extra that needs doing. There are some things an admin assistant cannot access.

Hey Rizal, how's it going? I get confused about ranks, levels, and then there's status too, but we'll save that for later since we're already confused enough, LOL.

Levels I think go up automatically with how much someone posts articles or forum posts. I think it can be set.

I use status for some things, but I have it hacked in to various mods and stuff. It's not yet a fully-implemented feature in WebAPP.

Be careful about your admin settings, did you see where you can set those? A good way to tell if it is a safe setting for your members that you set as admins is to set up a username for yourself and set it to admin, then see what you are able to do.

Moderators can't do anything except view moderators-only forums unless they are set to moderate a particular forum.

Hope that helps a little.
