I got to say I am emjoying the "Developer" layout better than the other ones. This one has what I need at the top and even a link to the directory portion which is awesome! Overall it is lopsided but not a huge thing seens as I never scroll to the bottom anyways. It may be an idea to move the member banners back up to the top, not the I enjoyed them but putting them down there is really just hiding them.

Yes, I have been trying to touch up our themes and layout a bit in recent days. I originally moved the ad banner to the page bottoms because search engines were picking up our banner texts as keywords to our content. Now I've reformatted the banner display so that it shows only the banner. The banner text appears only in the mouseover text. I've put one back up at the top for the front page and plan to do so for all of them. First I'd like to get the front page cleaned up. Something there is stalling the page loads. The calendar seemed to be the culprit, so that has been turned off temporarily, but now I find that we still have the problem. It's a programming issue that needs to be resolved, or rather probably a series of them.
Anyways you will see things moving around here for awhile. I'm working on the Anonymous theme for the most part since that is the one that shows up to the public. When I feel I've gotten a section close to being right, I move it to the developers theme. The borderless and the geometry theme are entirely neglected at the present time and may be showing it by now. I haven't looked at those for awhile.
We don't really need a bunch of themes around here anyways.
Crystal, I'm glad you like the developer theme all right. That is the one I use, so it's likely to be ahead of the others in being maintained.

Still not a fan of the purple text (ok it may be bluey but its still purple to me lol) but hey whatever lol. What stalls the page loading for me is the Recent Forum Posts. I wouldn't recommend getting rid of that because I know that is the one thing I use everytime I come to the main page here. Perhaps some way to make it faster?

I'm not sure. Seems like something is hanging up the latest forum posts display lately. I thought I did make it faster when Anton I redid the programming of it a little. Maybe not.
Or maybe something is wrong with one of the data files.

Whatever you did my screen is loading way faster when I come to the main portal. Almost instantly.

Must be something about the server. It's been acting really strange lately. I'm fixing to get this whole site working on the other server they have set up for us, if possible. It was that one they moved us to last year, without even telling us what happened, if you remember that. It didn't work right on there but might given some time to mess around with it. Supposedly it's a very nice server and good setup.
It might have been something in the last x number of posts, too, that was messing things up. Maybe a symbol or something that isn't getting translated right yet. Maybe we made the magic post that got us past that point in the archives.
