Verzeichnis zu verkaufen "Der GoGuides "Management-Buyout" war wohl doch nichts." Just a note of it. Not sure what it says, it's in German?

Yes, colloquial German, half a sentence is misplaced. corrected version: Verzeichnis zu verkaufen Directory to sell Der GoGuides "Management-Buyout" war wohl doch nichts. Das von ehemaligen "Go Guides" gegrndete Verzeichnis wird versteigert. Mindestgebot $US10k. The GoGuides "Management-Buyout" did not go through. (Google: was probably nevertheless nothing ) The directory that was founded by former "Go Guides" is auctioned off. Minimum bid US $ 10.000. Sie mssen zurckspulen, bis Sie im letzten Jahrhundert sind, als Infoseek.com noch die fhrende Suchmaschine war. ... They have to rewind (back out?), until they are in the last century, when infoseek.com still was the leading search engine.

I know I'm kinda a day late and a dollar short but good god talk about copyright infringement lol. 97% of the sites in the Skaffe.com's Canada topic were added by me at GoGuides and I even wrote the descriptions! How sad is it when they go and steal data? From, Crystal

Yep I know what you mean. Same thing with their B2B layout and some other things I did around there. Funny how such an incoherent incompetent's (such as they tried to make me out to be) work could be left untouched for so long - even moved to another site. All my work at ODP has been left untouched for the longest, too. Even the part they complained about - the "business" banty chicken breeders in the Hobby Farm category. That's what got me x'd from ODP in the end. Like the ones with a note on their site "if you need any birds, email me, sometimes I have extras"... Oh wow big business affiliations there. So I can sympathize I've learned that knowing too much can get a person in trouble, especially among those that are supposed to know some things but don't. That lesson was about all the reward there was from working at those places. Now there is Wow (Bruce), Web Beacon (Laurie), Skaffe (Tony, Bruce, Gayl), and GoGuides/Links2Go (Robert) all directories by the former GoGuides Team Support. There could be more but too many to keep track of already. If they wouldn't have ticked me off so much, there's a good chance SiteLibrary would have never been conceived, so that's one good thing that came about.

Same here...if there wasn't so much drama surrounding ex Go Guider's (specifically the ones mentioned above...and one I'm sure is still posting at Go.com like its still an active directory and nothing has happened) I'm sure I would still be editing there. If you don't like each other maybe don't create a new directory and run it like Germany during Hitler's reign. It was very clique-ish over there, it was like high school all over again....you are not cool you are not welcome here lol. Anyways we are here now and without all the turmoil and drama, that was most of ours editing experiences, we would probably not be here now. So something good did come of it! Later, Crystal

Does GoGuides have a virus today on their website, or is this just a corrupt page? If you try to go there right now, it tries to download something. I opened the download page with a text editor and found this at the top of the page:
code: \x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\r8y [;[ $i)ϔhb[nYԾоI6V`gҝT%:}:Y>ᗻv;Ee|9lǹrTPa'of5y^n5fi۬=6 r=>AMʉ%D?ܚA6T?Kyx";| yFo"?YS"iJ-f굋ƠeWgCn&'Ԣ@1rV9!HBěP"6v,,D9D:(ّQ'1nԛDwcK$职4;K\x004Av<)AسC4I`qA6Eo8'L<:$"2Zٙ$mzu 0(^k&1.n]j#f?b癿]x iAdC<b*ϡGAᕓj@ɄqǶcNcHPx\x00Մ]tyF $ O2gǧP)HW,*p4ʢUD\x00<0|O-* utj=<25upNg 5pzMx!w"v(յD0Ϣj9? \x00hYq'vwpg<<?f FZ^V$8xTFH1x9[ T,kw;K<~E,G!o[o4sSĻf"dl-H:)qCxYR<=9f^*+#{ʹҼȏ`9qԵ$z'哓wQ[sPs_ǘ1 Ё`]k|X]7\]Lfpi|9:u*x3G?uic9#)'DlpҼ*S^8\rzջf?n3,~>4gt̾GR
After that it continues with the normal page, but the heading is replaced with the above. The \x00 were characters that could not be copied, a null character? Does this look like a hack?
