Fluff of the Week (FotW) Posted on 12/07/03 at 19:47:33 GMT |
I searched http://www.cogsci.princeton.edu/~wn/ WordNet is an online lexical reference system... for the noun "fluff" : 1. any light downy material 2. bagatelle, frippery, or frivolity: something of little value or significance 3. a blunder, especially an actor's forgetting the lines
In that sense ...

In 'Christmas Shopping Survival Tips', Michael says near the end, "Skipping the whole giving gifts process is beyond unthinkable." I disagree with this. I doubt if I'm alone in considering the option of just skipping the whole Christmas thing just to avoid the shopping (often hard with no money) and the stress. Never have tried it yet though. : )

Ha ha jotfish, I was afraid of what could make my monitor read something to online. I'm glad it wasn't what I thought. Anyways, I wanted to share this subscription I have for website of the day because I find it funny almost every day. I get an email telling some advertising and then on to the Today's Site - Which is almost always a site I've seen before and that almost everybody must have already seen, or else it is a spammy site full of popups and stuff. Once in awhile she comes up with a good one I haven't seen. I keep the subscription because it makes me laugh, plus I like the surprise when there is a good new site. I found her from a radio show I heard one Saturday. She has radio shows about computers and internet all over the place at different times. It was a pretty good show I heard. Here's the site - Kim's 100% FREE Weekly Newsletter, Tip of the Day or Daily Cool Site!

Check out this rating system - http://www.netnose.com/idea.htm . It is like a directory editor game of sorts. Cute. Good idea too.
