Last Title, Last Description Posted on 04/21/05 at 21:19:18 GMT
I added two form fields to the site edit form for the previous title and previous description. This way when we edit someone else's review we can copy the old text into these boxes so they can see what we did. Might make for a good learning experience in the future.
Plus then we can change it back if the former description was the better of the two.

You would be trusting the editor to even tell you they edited it and how.
For the future one may want to look into automating that process. By that I mean being able to see the sites history without having to manually input the past history. It's fine for right now when there is only 3 of us but when theres 300 of us that leaves a whole area to become muddled with.
Really hard to talk to (and yes maybe even discipline) an editor for poor/bad editing when you can't even prove which editor it was

True, but at our current level of editor activity, it is very handy when correcting a title or description to be able to just paste the old ones into another box rather than trying to explain the corrections. I think it will be handy in the future too. Some improvement does continue to be needed in the way the extra information form spaces are configured, as well as in the way they are laid out on our pages. One step at a time I guess.
