Directory Front Page

Is there anyway to hand pick what sub-cats appear on the directory front page under their respective cats?

I've been thinking about that too. It is possible to just make an HTML front page like GoGuides had and then change it by hand when needs be. But then we lose the numbers by the cats, and I like those.
It would take some fancy programming, but I think I can make something work where we set which ones we want to be generated on the front. Probably wouldn't be really too hard. I've got the concept rattling around in my mind. So maybe it will materialize into a code for that one of these days.
I think it would be easy to make it so @links weren't listed as cats on the front page. They shouldn't do that anyways. I consider it a bug.

Cool. And yea I don't think @links should show up either seens as they aren't even IN the cat...well the @links are but yea you get my point lol.

Well with yours and Norberts cats it's totally up to you...you guys know best which are most active etc.
In mine:
Education - Distance Learning (22), Higher Education (678 ), and K-12 (24)
Entertainment - Humor (1201), Movies (26), and Music (27)
Online Shopping (hard call cause I see a lot of these sites period) - Clothing (45), Health and Beauty (50), and Home and Garden (1135)
Recreation - Gambling (1954), Outdoors (1147), Sports (55)
Regional - Australia (807), India (808 ), and United States (1214) (or does it have to be the very top level sub-cats? If it does then it obviously stays the same as it is now)
Travel - Cruises and Charters (1539), Destinations (667), and Transportation (71)

Can you change Online Shopping sub-cats to:
Clothing and Accessories -45
Electronics -48
Home and Garden -1135

The clothing one is (45) but the name needs to be changed (probably as simple as rewriting the front page) but the other two aren't I need 50 removed and then replaced with 48.

Okay I changed the 50 to 48, or Health and Beauty to Electronics. You might want to check it out with the preview before you make the page, but it should be right.
