I've thought about this in the past as well. Weblogs are quite well situated now for exposure purposes, probably better than they should be with their folder linked from the Directory home page. It is not a bad idea for the future to move them to within their specific topics.

They are findable now, however, through the @links to them from their topics, which by the way could probably use a look over and update.

Since we have done several major reorganizations in recent weeks, let's hold this idea for consideration after things have stabilized around what we have at present.

Also then we can keep an eye on them better. A lot of them do tend to be transient, but some are nice.
